Our Services

We now have digital X-rays and In-house Lab Work that allows for same day results!

Routine Examinations
We recommend that you bring your pet to visit the doctor for a routine exam once a year if under the age of 6, and twice a year if 7 or older. It is beneficial to you, that your pet be examined when he is healthy rather than sick. It is important to have a baseline of health for your records when an animal becomes sick.

Individualized Vaccination Protocals for Your Pet
One of the very best ways to protect your pet’s overall well-being is through immunization tailored to your pet‘s activities. It is important to speak with the doctor to determine what your pet should be vaccinated against.

Dental Care
Did you know a major disease in an animal could develop with poor dental health?  It’s true!

Bacteria can enter via the gum line, move to the bloodstream and cause serious illness. That’s why the proper care of your pet’s teeth is imperative, just as it is for your own. We look at your pet‘s teeth during each routine exam. If a “dental” is required, we will schedule a future date for the procedure.

Advanced Diagnostics
Since your pet can’t really describe how he or she is feeling, we need to rely on tests to help us determine potential health issues. We have an in-house laboratory, including our own blood-testing equipment, that enables us to achieve fast results on what might be ailing your pet. In addition, we take x-rays and a wide array of equipment to diagnose your pet.

A Complete Surgical Center
North Royalton Animal Hospital has one of the most advanced surgical care units in the area. Dr. Hechko performs routine surgeries as well as many emergency surgeries. He is supported by a skilled team of surgical assistants who make sure that your pet’s procedure is carried out with the utmost care and professionalism. Your pet's vital signs are monitored by a bionet monitoring system during surgery. This monitoring system encompasses heart and respiration rates, EKG, blood pressure, and temperature.

Emergency Service
We are pleased to offer after-hours emergency phone consultation to our clients. Dr. Hechko will speak to you and advise you on what should be done for your pet‘s emergency needs.
